Hopi-Tewa Indian Pottery

Book-34: This book focuses on the Hopi-Tewa potters of First Mesa. The book begins with a chapter "Who are the Hopi -Tewa people", a chapter entitled "How do we evaluate Hopi-Tewa pottery?", a chapter on "How is Hopi-Tewa pottery made?", followed by 500 artist biographies and 450 illustrations. Following the artist biographies are several important appendices, family tree charts and an extensive bibliography, 199 pages, 9"x11-1/2". This is the first and, perhaps, the best in Greg's series. If you collect Hopi pottery, you must have this book.
